Pastor Toby Lazo began his duties as the new Hispanic Director July 1, 2006. He was appointed to this position by the District Executive Board at their meeting on May 24, 2006.

District Superintendent Mike Livingston states "I am personally excited to have Toby on board as our Director as he brings to us not only the experience of a successful church planter, but significant business and administrative experience having been in management for over 10 years. He also has a big vision for the expansion of our Hispanic ministry."

Toby will be leaving his secular job position to focus full time on pastoring the "Casa de Dios" church in Burbank CA that he started two years ago and to handle the duties of the District Hispanic Director.

God has blessed Casa de Dios from a beginning of just a few people to almost 200 in regular attendance.
